  1. In a skillet, brown pork chops on both sides in oil. Transfer to a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan. Combine the remaining ingredients; spoon over chops. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes or until meat juices run clear.

I gave this a 5 because with any recipe personal taste comes into play.

Reminded my husband of a German dish his mom used to make. Loved the flavor that the applesauce gave the sauerkraut. Even my 7 yr old liked it!

If I could rate this recipe 4.5, I would do so. We liked the flavor of the dish and the meat was incredibly tender. I did, however, deviate just a bit from the original (sorry to those purists...

Very easy - but bland. I should have just broiled or grilled the chops and made Cola Sauerkraut which is on this site.

This recipe was very bland. I made it exactly as listed. The chops were tender, but had little flavor.
