  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Beat until blended. Spread on one side of each slice of bread and place on ungreased baking sheets. Broil 4 in. from the heat for 3 minutes or until cheese is melted and lightly browned.

Thanks for a great recipe!! I made this for a football game for my husband and I and it was great!!! I added some grated romano to half the slices just because i like the taste and it went rea...

I love this but my husband asked me to go back to the traditional garlic bread.

I tried this recipe, and the cream cheese just didn't turn out as "creamy" as it appeared in the picture. Kind of thick and a little gritty. Didn't brown well under the broiler.
