  1. In a large saucepan, bring broccoli, water and bouillon to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5-8 minutes or until broccoli is crisp-tender. Drain and place in a serving dish; keep warm. In a skillet, saute almonds in margarine until browned. Add onion and salt; saute until onion is tender. Pour over broccoli; toss to coat.

sorry to say, but i thought this dish to be very bland. i really had high expectations since the combination of ingredients sounded good, but it just didn't happen. everyone (6 people) agreed....

This is the only way my kids will eat broccoli! I usually steam the broccoli with the broth in the microwave and then add it to the skillet. I keep a little of the broth & add this in the skille...
