My son made this recipe exactly as written for an ice cream making contest at the Baltimore County 4H fair and receive 1st place. We all loved it and its so simple to make.

This was way too sweet, even for my 6 year-old who loves sugar. The cherry flavor was very "fake." I will say that the consistency was nice however.

Made this for a cookout this weekend and it was a hit! Everyone loved it! I did make a small change because I only had 1 small box of cherry jello, I used 1 (3oz) box of cherry and 1 (3oz) box...

Surprisingly good! Everyone loved it. I think next time i'll substitute part of the cream for sweetened condensed milk, yum!

I made this for a church supper/ice cream party, and it was very good! It is very colorful, and the bites of pineapple are wonderful! I will make again!

Very Good. I used pineapple tid-bits, instead of crushed pineapple.
