  1. In a large salad bowl, combine the first seven ingredients; set aside. In a large saucepan, combine the remaining ingredients. bring to a boil; boil for 1-2 minutes or until the sugar is dissolved. Pour over cabbage mixture and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate overnight or up to 1 week.

It was way too sweet and I only used 2/3 of the sugar it called for. After many attempts to fix it, we tried to rinse off the dressing but that didn't work.

This is fantastic, a nice change of pace from other coleslaws

made it exactly as directed...de-lish! next time I will add less sugar,tho
