Open-Faced Sandwich Supreme

"'My husband and I first sampled this delicious open-faced sandwich at a restaurant,' writes Phyllis Smith of Mariposa, California. 'It seemed so easy, I duplicated it at home. It's also tasty with cheese sauce in place of hollandaise sauce or asparagus instead of broccoli,' she says."

One of our favorite sandwiches,,quick, easy, and yummy!! Especially good in the summer for a quick easy meal ! We've been making it for years!

The sauce turned out badly (will try it again) but even if the sauce had been good. the sandwich might not have been.
