  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Beat on low speed for 3 minutes or until blended. Transfer to a greased 9-in. pie plate. Sprinkle with bacon and cheese; lightly press down into batter. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.

Just like quiche, you can add virtually anything to this recipe.. I've substituted the bacon with ham and added broccoli or asparagus.. Skip the bacom and added smoked salman and spinach, etc....

Excellent and easy dish for any meal of the day. To make a larger dish, I added two extra eggs and made mine with diced ham, bacon, swiss and fresh chives. Huge hit with my kids and my husband.
