Crispy Fried Chicken

Crispy Fried Chicken

"This Sunday dinner staple is first fried and then baked to a crispy golden brown. Well-seasoned with oregano and sage, this classic is sure to satisfy diners at church potlucks or late-summer picnics, too. I love fixing it for family and friends. -Donna Kuhaupt, Slinger, Wisconsin"

This is a winner. The favor is great. The chicken turns out crispy and perfect every time. The best part is that it's finished in the oven. All the pieces are hot and crispy at the same time...

Very good! I took skin off of a few pieces for myself while leaving the rest of the skin on for hubby and both turned out great. Thanks for the recipe!

Fantastic! Used value pack of legs. Did single recipe. I ran out of paprika so I added the same amount of Creole seasoning. Worked perfectly. Made with skin on and off. Both work great! T...

Made it with chicken strips. Note to those who aren't used to frying. Hot oil = crispier strips that aren't too dry

Just finished this for dinner tonight; it was very good! I got a "very good" out of my husband; which is rare. I gave it 4 stars because it didn't come out crispy. Perhaps it is because I used c...
