  1. In a saucepan, combine cornstarch and orange juice until smooth. Stir in the grapefruit juice, vinegar, marmalade, mustard, orange peel, garlic powder and onion powder. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from the heat; refrigerate until chilled. Divide lettuce and fruit among four salad plates; drizzle with dressing.

This was too tart. I like the idea of the cooked salad dressing.

I didn't particularly care for this salad, but I thought it was a great idea! The grapefruit I used was definately on the sour side, so maybe a sweet grapefruit would work better. When I ate it ...
