  1. In a large skillet, brown steak in oil over medium-high heat; drain. Combine the barbecue sauce, honey and sugar; pour over meat. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 10-15 minutes or until the sauce is slightly thickened and meat is tender.

This was very yummy and easy to make! A big hit! I actually used Morning Star Farms Vegetarian Steak Strips and it turned out wonderfully.

It was a little too much barbecue sauce for me... but my fiance loved it! It was a hit :)

It tasted ok but looked unappetizing. The family didn't like it and I was the only one who ate it.

Nice recipe, easy prep...used Splenda for sugar & pure maple syrup for honey (didn't realize we were out!)...loved the taste, will make again w/honey...hubby approved, it's a keeper...:) Thanks ...

Steak was simple to make, and had a nice flavor. I used a spicey honey BBQ sauce, made the steak have a good sweet flavor.
