  1. Sprinkle roast with salt and pepper. Place with fat side up on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine the cranberries, sugar, orange juice and barbecue sauce. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook and stir for 10-12 minutes or until cranberries pop and sauce is thickened.
  3. Brush some of the sauce over roast. Bake 15-20 minutes longer or until a meat thermometer reads 145 degrees F (63 degrees C), brushing often with sauce. Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with remaining sauce.

very very good recipe!!!! love the sauce, though i may add a little more bbq to it next time.

The cranberry BBQ sauce is a nice way to dress up an ordinary pork roast. I served this with the scalloped sweet potatoes and apple recipe from this site. It made for a nice meal.

Wonderful!!!! Absolutely loved it. I used Chubbys mild BBQ sauce. Followed the directions to a "T" and was delicious. I wlll be making this again.

I made this last night and it was one of the easiest dishes I have ever made. The sauce was delicious. I loved how I could taste the hint of orange juice in it.
