  1. Combine the potatoes and 2 tablespoons taco seasoning. Press into a greased 9-in. deep-dish pie plate; set aside.
  2. In a skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the beans, barbecue sauce, water and remaining taco seasoning. Cook and stir until hot and bubbly. Spoon into potato crust.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes or until heated through. Top with lettuce, tomato, cheese and sour cream.

This was amazing! It was gone by the end of the night. It doesn't however look anything like the picture. We used it more as a dip with chips. Really good and I'll make it agian.

This is an awesome way to use up left over mashed potaotes. I wanted my potatoes to be like a crust so I baked it in the oven while the beef was warming up - I used cooked frozen ground beef so ...

I cut back on the taco seasoning mix so recipe wouldn't be too salty. Added a little cumin to the ground beef and about 1/4 cup of salsa instead. It was delicious and my family loved it.

I was surprised by how good it tasted. We had to do without the toppings, I don't recommend it.
