Zippy Shrimp Linguine

Zippy Shrimp Linguine

"'I won a community recipe contest several years ago with this spicy dish,' relates Jackie Selover of Sidney, Ohio. 'I make it often for my family, but it's pretty enough to serve guests.' Red pepper flakes put a little zing in the shrimp, and the lightly sauteed veggies are crisp-tender and colorful."

I used some fresh Roma tomates in place of carrots, added some red bell pepper, and along with other reviewers loaded up on the herbs and garlic. I ended up with about 4 to one veggie to pasta ...

It was good! I need to master the timing on this meal because it's one where you are always doing something... I overcooked the shrimp just a little bit and made it slightly chewy & the pasta ...

This is delicious and easy. I used broccoli and carrots with dried herbs. I used thin spaghetti. I will definately make this again.

Great recipe. Super easy and delicious. I added mushrooms and did not use carrots. Yum!
