  1. Place green beans in a microwave-safe dish. Combine the remaining ingredients; pour over beans and toss to coat evenly. Cover and microwave on high for 6-8 minutes or until beans are tender.

Great side dish! This was very quick and easy. I used a steam in bag of green beans and added the rest of the ingredients. Not bad for something that takes next to no time to prepare.

I also used thyme as a substitution for "savory" as I didn't have any. Yummy beans thank you!

I didn't have the savory so I used thyme...also, instead of microwaving I just tossed everything into a skillet. Very good!

This is a good 'base' recipe to have. I used fresh green beans and upped the spices to about double to better suit my taste. I also cooked them in a pan instead of using the microwave.
