  1. In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine the first seven ingredients; shake well. On four salad plates, arrange the lettuce, grapefruit, onion, and avocado. Drizzle with dressing. Serve immediately.

Too citrusy

Excellent light and healthy salad. The dressing is what makes it. I added red wine vinegar in lieu of the orange juice. I find myself craving this dish!
