  1. In a small mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, lemon juice and garlic powder until smooth. Beat in beef and onions. Serve with crackers.

If you find this recipe too saltly, rinse the dried beef in water and dry completely before combining with the additional ingredients.

I only used two eight-ounce packages of cream cheese, and I used my food processor to shred the dried beef and mix the other ingredients. It was (surprisingly) good.

My family loves this recipe! I added some Worchestershire sauce in stead of th lemon juice. It gives it a little kick.
