"One of the things my family likes about this recipe, which I created, is that you can adjust the 'heat index' by using green chilies or jalapeno peppers."

  1. In a skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until cooked but not crisp. Remove to paper towels to drain; keep warm. Flatten chicken to 1/4-in. thickness. Sprinkle chicken breasts with seasoned salt. In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, chilies and garlic. Spread half of the mixture on each chicken breast. Roll up chicken and wrap with two bacon strips; secure with toothpicks.
  2. Place chicken in a greased shallow 4-1/2 cup baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees F for 45 minutes. Cover and bake 10-15 minutes longer or until chicken juices run clear. Discard toothpicks before serving.

Great chicken - easy to assemble, attractive and delicious, with loads of flavor. A whole can of green chiles would have been overkill for us, so I mixed up the cream cheese with some fresh min...

Followed recipe. WAY overcooked! And too much green chile. If I did make this again (probably not) would cut the bake time to 25 min. and reduce the green chiles by 1/2. Sorry.

Me and DH loved this. It was rich, but not so rich that it was heavy. Watch the time on this, as mine was done uncovered, after about 30 minutes.

Actually, very figure friendly if you're following the Atkins diet!!! I loved it!

Very, very good meal in a pinch. I found this recipe using the ingredient seach on AR to try and use up some things I had on hand. I used chopped jalapenos instead of green chillies and only coo...

Very good for Atkins diet which we're doing now! I added some stuffed mushrooms as a side and we felt like we were cheating on our diet! Delicious!

I have to tell you, while not exactly a figure-friendly recipe, it is certainly tummy-friendly! I received RAVES over this and it's so simple! I used chive and onion cream cheese, so I left ou...
