  1. Place beans in a steamer basket. Place in a saucepan over 1 in. of water; bring to a boil. Cover and steam for 8-10 minutes or until crisp tender. Meanwhile, in a small skillet, saute cashews in butter for about 2 minutes or until golden brown. Stir in honey; heat through. Transfer beans to a serving bowl; toss to coat. Serve immediately.

We thought these were just OK. They were very buttery but the honey and cashew flavor was not as strong as we had hoped. Not bad but not mind blowing.

Pretty good, but I prefer the beans get a little softer than just steaming them. Sauce was good. You can definately switch around what kind of nuts you use. I would make again.

this is a wonderful recipe! i added the green beans with the honey/butter/cashew sauce while still on the stove and let them cook a bit longer. very good. also makes great leftovers and heats...
