  1. In a saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch and water until smooth. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from the heat; stir in gelatin until dissolved. Transfer to a bowl. Chill until partially set.
  2. Place strawberries in the crust; pour gelatin mixture over berries. Cover and refrigerate until set.

This was alright. I tried substituting a shortbread crust that was homemade and it ruined the pie. Go for the good old store made standby for this and you'll be good to go.

This was alright. I tried substituting a shortbread crust that was homemade and it ruined the pie. Go for the good old store made standby for this and you'll be good to go.

This was an excellent pie and so easy. Next time I make it, though I am going to add a bit less sugar - I found the glaze/Jello mix too sweet.
