  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, stir together SPLENDA(R) Granulated Sweetener, molasses, salt, and cinnamon. When these ingredients are well mixed, stir in the egg whites followed by the pumpkin and evaporated milk. Pour into the pie crust.
  3. Bake for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the pie comes out clean. Cool then top with whipped topping before serving.

I made this recipe for Thanksgiving. It was much, much sweeter tasting than I had expected. I plan to make it again, except that I'll reduce the amount of Splenda to 1/2 cup.

It was very good the same day I made it. But it had a strong after taste on the second day.

i made this for thanksgiving it was a big hit.

Friends were not able to tell that it was sugar free, and it allows a large enough portion that you do not feel cheated on a diabetic diet.
