  1. Stovetop Directions: Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan. Stir in oats and salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, over medium heat 5 minutes.
  2. Microwave Directions: Combine water, oats, and salt in a microwave-safe bowl. Cover tightly with heavy-duty plastic wrap; fold back a small edge to allow steam to escape. Microwave on HIGH 2 1/2 to 3 minutes; stir well.
  3. Top oatmeal with SPLENDA(R) Brown Sugar Blend, chopped apple and spice.

I have been making oatmeal with skim milk and raisins and then I sweeten it with Splenda! It's such a healthy, satisfying breakfast! - Tiff

this is such A GOOD MEAL

Wonderfully filling and delicious! I do prefer my oatmeal with milk though, so I followed the microwave instructions using milk instead.
