Happy Thanksgiving!~ I hope you enjoy spending time with family and friends today! Start a memory book if you haven't already, and ask each person what they are thankful for, them have them sign it! Years from now when the children have grown, they will ask if their writing looked like that, and after some of the other guests have passed on, you might cherish a copy of their handwriting!

Good early Thanksgiving morning. Thanks to all who have helped me this past year with requests and suggestions. Remember it's not about the perfect food. I would prefer to have frozen burritos (heated up) with family and friends than the perfect pumpkin pie alone. Happy Thanksgiving All

In the reviews of this recipe there are varying and even exact opposite recommendations on how to prevent weeping of the meringue! Does anyone have tried & true tips to prevent weeping? I'm making now and serving tomorrow.

Miss Betty and Freda's salads are made and Grandma Rita's rolls are all ready to travel tomorrow. The big chest freezer even got cleaned out today. Feels good to have everything done. We crashed our son and DIL's "Friendsgiving" party tonight. Loved getting to see all their friends.

Question: (2 answers)

I make a sausage stuffing for holiday turkeys. I always make more than fits in a turkey. I'm wondering about the possibility of cooking that extra in a slow cooker. has anyone tried this successfully? Ideas/hints, anyone? Thanks and happy Thanksgiving!!
