Have you seen "levitating" desserts? Ones in a glass with air space under them? So simple, so cute! http://www.craftsy.com/blog/2014/07/how-to-make-creative-desserts

I'm making the Lemon Icebox Pie. It calls for 2 lemons juiced and 1 teaspoon lemon zest. I have no fresh lemons but I do have lemon juice and both lemon and orange extract. How much do I use?? Will I ruin it? any suggestions / advice??

Good morning everyone! I made pancakes this morning and when getting the syrup my six yr old asked "mommy is this the fake one or the real one (maple)?" I lied and said fake so he would eat it. Has anyone else lied to get your kids to eat something or am I the only one? :)

When you wash and spin your greens ... Do you still let them air dry a bit on a paper towel? Mine are still a bit damp? Or do you just store?

Question: (3 answers)

My grandmother used to make elderberry jam, and usually one of the jars wouldn't set, making syrup instead. While she was always upset about it, it made the best pancake topping EVER. I've never made anything besides freezer jam, any suggestions on how to purposely make the jam not set? TIA

What do you do with pork feather bones? I was thinking slow cooking with BBQ sauce but I am unsure of how long to cook and if that would be a good idea. Thanks for the help.

Good morning to everyone, On my shopping trip yesterday I was given two packets of hemp hearts free of charge so I am now thinking they might go well in some cookies. Does anyone have a favourite recipe that they use hemp hearts in. I am coming up with an idea for a pie that would be a good main course.
