I have noticed that when I request "Newest recipes" the same recipe pops up on different pages. Rice cooker oats in on pages 11 and 12, for example, as well as Angie's chicken salad. Is this the usual procedure? Or another mysterious AR glitch?

Calling all pork chop experts. I am defrosting 6 bone in chops to make tomorrow. I have looked at dozens of recipes, but need your help. I am really bad at making chops. I always seem to over cook them and they get tough. What method or recipes would you suggest to help this pork chop challenged cook? TIA!

I am making this recipe inside. It requires an 8 inch square pan or an oval 2 quart. Is this because of the shape of the puff pastry? Ive never used puff pastry...would be nice to use a deep dish pie pan since it is like a pot pie

I made a big mistake... I'm making the tahini recipe inside to add to hummus, and silly me forgot to toast the sesame seeds before blending. Is there any way that I can salvage this?

Oh Melanie, a.k.a. Buckwheat Queen! Thank you so very much for the get-well card I received a few days ago from Italy. You are so thoughtful and kind! You have touched me to the heart! I'm doing well and nearly back to normal. We're going out of town to participate in an art exhibit, hubby's thing, and reconnecting with artist friends we haven't seen in quite a while. Have a glorious weekend, my friend!

Can I thicken my frozen pumpkin rather than drain and throw away the juice. If so how do I thicken it?

Ok, so maybe it's me not them. I have made some recipes lately using apples. Pies, galettes, crubles, etc. they've been dry. I use crisp, McIntosh apples almost always. Is it the apples or me?

I have a two-part request, and maybe a lesson in etiquette to learn... 1) I will be having a celebration for my husband and a group of coworkers, I would like to have finger foods (simple, nothing fancy)--your favorite suggestions appreciated! 2) We have a group of friends over for poker every Friday night. For birthdays, the spouses usually throw a small party at our house. They supply all food, decorations, favors, etc...and I help cook/decorate whatever is needed. My husband's friend (who is single) stopped by our house last week and asked if we would throw him a birthday party early next month. I felt it was a little rude, considering he asked us to invite his whole family. There is always a meal cooked, and a dessert made, he informed us he does not want cake. It is his 40th birthday. My husband agreed to do it...reluctantly. So...as far as etiquette in this situation...am I obligated to cook a meal and invite his family over?! Was this rude of him or am I the crazy one?!
