good saturday afternoon buzzers! i just made some parmesan lavash chips. soooooo yummy, i can't stop eating them. a sheet of lavash, lightly brushed with olive oil, then sprinkled with freshly grated parm, cut into squares or triangle, single layer on a sheet pan, bake at 350 for 12 mins. i'm going to make some with homemade taco seasoning too. i was wondering if this would work with a splenda and cinammon mixture? if so, what would the ratio be? thanks a munch.

So, today I tackled 30 lbs of tomatoes and have the most lovely spaghetti sauce simmering away. As soon as I cleaned up the kitchen, I'm like, hmm what can I do now? So I am in the middle of making Sassy's Freezer Slaw from a cabbage from my garden. Once that is done, I will have to stop myself! (I still have the canning to do for the sauce). I will save blanching and freezing the green beans for tomorrow. Only you guys understand. If I called any girlfriend to tell her how excited I am about my "putting up" day, it would sound like I was bragging or crazy. Thanks!

I forgot to say that I changed my name here. I was HotGrandma. Always hated that name. Had been using AR for a few years before opening an account to post a recipe. (Later deleted since a double whammy of aspertane which I now think is evil.) Hate coming up with user names & passwords so was sitting here fanning myself (hot flash) & DH said hot grandma. This was before I found the Buzz, thought a one time thing & never thought it would go anywhere. I did change to this name several weeks ago then changed back a couple of days later because a time of a lot of sadness for my family & others here & I thought it disrespectful to have to stop & explain my name change then. In those couple of days, someone said this was a bid for anonymity. Not at all. Just wanted a name change for family, friends & my dear sweet granddaughters when looking for my recipes.

OT Has anyone had a black microwave and didn't like it because it shows smudges easily? Looking at my coffeepot (blk) right now, I see it is very smudgey. Thanks, I'll wait a few more min b/4 placing order.

Hi Nanny, Thank you for your help with the dumplings, I have a question if you are still around.....I have been cooking the dumplings for 40 mn. and they are still a little soft in the middle? I did cook them on the stove, should I just keep simmering them? I wonder what went wrong, this has never hapoened before, I made them like half dollar size.

I found this recipe last night & know we will love it but main dish or side dish? I would be happy with this & just a small simple salad but the others...? Would crawfish chowder be overload? What would you serve with this? Thanks!

My son bought an 8 oz container of pichuberries. He ate one and says he doesn't like them. Does anyone have a good cookie recipe I can incorporate them into? Maybe one that calls for another fruit and I can trade it out. thanks!
