Has anyone ever added fruit to his cheesecake recipe? I would like to add some kind of strawberry puree to this recipe, which is really the only cheesecake I have made from this site that turned out nice looking and tasty. I read quite a few reviews and didn't find any that mentioned adding anything to the batter. Thanks so much.

Good morning all! I have today off as a conference comp day so I have a 4 day weekend, yippee!! Plans are a birthday party on Sunday for our 8 yr old "granddaughter" and another one on Monday for my 78 yr old mom. My question isn't really about that, though.... I just received my order from Penzey Spice and I now have a jar of orange peel. Smells fantastic, but I need some favorite recipes to try them in. Step inside and give me your favs, please!

Well, I came on late, since I was kept busy today, but sometimes there's a fellow insomniac who asks a question, & I like to give some quick answers if I can. Reminds me, I need to go back & answer mor about pressure cookers, but I bet you guys fixed her up dandy. This was a very bittersweet day for me. It should have been my husband Jerry's & my 21st anniversary. He's been gone 7 years now, but I try to set the day aside & celebrate it. Instead, the day was over-run by petty crud & errands. I just miss him, just as I do Clint (passed in 1988 after 8 years of marriage). Seems I wear 'em out fast! However, I realized that I'm privileged to know that they are both "more than o.k.", because they are with Heavenly Father. I hope all of you are as lucky as I have been. It's nice to know I can tell you how I feel tonight and know you won't mind too much. I'm grateful to have you all, both past & future. By the way, in honor of my "new" single status, I'm changing my picture. And, if anyone really cares, my real name is Nikki.
