Got a call from one of my physicians saying my sugar level was high and I am diabetic bound if I do not take better care of myself. And I was encouraged to lose weight. Does anyone have any suggestions or alternatives to sugar intake? Agave nectar, honey, what is safe? Thanks guys...

Guess my last request hit the twilight zone. So I was wondering if I can use a large muffin pan to bake large cupcakes in it. If I do this, will I have to lesson the cook time?

I can't decide on a dessert to make for Easter. My guests are bringing mango tapioca, and fresh fruit, so I'd like to make a cake or pie or something for the real dessert lovers. What is everyone making? Thanks....

Hi, Right, it is Semana Santa --"Week of the Saints" here in Andalucía -- parades every day depicting daily images of Christ throughout his week from psalm Sunday to the resurrection and Easter Sunday, on huge floats carried by up to 50 upwards men. usually, members of specific brotherhoods, wearing klu Klux clan type hoods. They carry them throughout the streets thronged by thousands-- magic sights --- time for a bit nostalgia and how we want to go on and what is important at this stage of our lives. Easter is a great time to remember.!!! !!!!Stay young My Friends -- stay young!!!. Cheers.

Hi! I'm looking for some ideas for some " Beef boneless chuck country style ribs". I have only marinated and grilled this cut of meat before, but can't grill today.

So I just bought a ton of meat (as in 1/4 steer, 1/2 pig, and 60 pounds of chicken) and need some ideas for organizing my 17cf upright freezer. It has a large basket on the bottom, but I need ideas for how to organize the shelves-bins, baskets, etc? If you bought stuff, where did you find it? Thanks! Shannon

Thank you everyone for your replies about my new toaster oven. I really appreciate all the tips & your time you took to help! So I'm back again. I've been reading the manual this morning & it says, when baking a cake or cookies, to place the broil pan on the top rails & the oven rack on the bottom rails then place the dish on the broiler pan to bake. Does this sound right? I would have thought the middle rack for baking a cake.

Hi ALL! So rotisserie whole chickens are on sale this week at my store so I plan to pick one up today after work. I normally just slice and serve. Anything I can do to jazz it up? I was thinking of making the inside veggie with it!

Really, this is more of a suggestion than a question. My Crispy Roast Chicken (http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Crispy-Roasted-Chicken/Detail.aspx)recipe has received a number of very positive reviews. Thank you for that, and especially for suggestions and observations about the outcomes. I made this last night for the thousandth time. I changed one thing. I soaked the chicken halves in a brine for 2 to 3 hours before roasting. It was even better. The basic Brine is: 20 ounces of water, 2 Tbs Salt, and 1 Tbs sugar. Add the flavoring you want such as garlic, peppercorns, dried sage, Mexican oregano and so on.

Since breaking my ribs I have not been eating too well. I'm having a hard time cutting up vegetables or using any pressure or strength. it's hard to stand for a long time. Any ideas on simple satisfying meals? Thankfully my pantry is pretty well-stocked and I'm not fussy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a great day everyone.

Question: (1 answer)

I planned to make this recipe http://www.iheartnaptime.net/cookie-butter-popcorn/ for my children;s easter parties tomorrow however over looked the vanilla candy coating/candy quick and I have no idea what it is. Is there something I can use instead of it? I have cookie butter and candy melts and everything else for it. I have about two and a half million other things to do today and was really hoping to get this stuff made this morning. Thank you for any help!!
