Ended up making chicken and dumplings in a crock pot today, so I'm looking for a good recipe for blackberry cobbler (oven cooked) that I can make. I have two packages (5 cups) of frozen blackberries on hand. What do you suggest?

'Any psychologists out there? What does it mean when you - okay, me, me, meee! - have ten types of pasta (purchased relatively recently)? :) Lasagna, manicotti, egg noodles, rigatoni, penne rigate, angel hair, thin spaghetti, fettuccine, spaghetti, elbows ... & vermicelli! Couscous doesn't "count," right? :O :D

Buckwheat Queen, thank you for the great review. I am glad you liked the recipe. We love it. NB Papa would be happy if I made that every week.

I bought High fiber tortillas for fajitas. After reading the large list of preservatives in the ingredients, I was thinking of making homemade instead. Anyone have any pointers or recipes for a higher fiber tortilla? Thank you, if you help!

What is your favorite side dish for a Barbeque? Something beside potatoes or Mac and cheese. I am looking for something a little different but have not really found anything that caught my attention. So far my menu is banana pudding, tabouli salad, revved up queso, cioppino seafood stew, ribs, and a whole brisket. Send your favorites and thank you so much!

I am making a wonderful banana pudding dish this weekend and the recipe was given to me from a friend that has a resturant in Vegas and I had to promise I would never share it. As usual I like to add my own touch and thought instead of vanilla wafers could I use chocolate chip cookies such as the famous amous brand? Let me know your thoughts! Thanks!!!

Happy 4th to all you fantastic foodies. I could use an imaginative idea for a pool gathering where I live. I'd like it to be easy but interesting as I'd like to request donations for the treat to care for a homeless cat that is somewhat the property mascot. He needs meds for the rest of his life. It's quite hot here so cakes, etc. aren't an option. TIA and looking forward to some fun.

YAY!!!! to nanny129 and linda2d and all others who helped me to find a certain peanut butter dip! the ones you suggested that have peanut butter and nonfat vanilla yogurt i think is the type i was looking for. i just winged it and whipped up a lil bit, with a dollop of peanut butter and a couple of dollops of nonfat vanilla yogurt, and OH MY GOSH! it's THE BOMB!!!! i had a half of a granny smith that i sliced up and dipped into it. it's just sooooo delicious and easy! thanks everyone, again, for your great efforts. (insert happy dance here:) )
