Many blueberries. 'Any good recipes for cranberries out there? ... Huh? Yes, yes, blueberries, too! Ya see, I've made many muffins, some quickbreads, several pies, blueberry salsa, blueberry-cucumber salad ... see where I'm going? Okay, I'll tell ya. I'm leaning toward cranberry recipes & subbing blueberries. Yup. Any type! Thanks, All! :)

I went to the grocery store to get a chicken and stuff to make Cajun chicken pasta with lots of veggies to chop with long john silver cheddar bay biscuits on a day Im sick because thats what i was craving. Hubby cleaned the kitchen for me to have a clean area to work and he said are you sure your up to making this big meal? I said I'm really not. So we are having tortilla soup in the middle of summer. Only onion and carrots to cut then opening cans! I am making homemade broth for it though. At least the house is cold! I was trying to find a recipe that I saved from a blog I can't find where I saved it. It is a soup made with tomatoes, chicken broth and a Mexican pasta that resembles angel hair noodles. Anyone have a recipe so I can make tomorrow?

Had a cookie that a local gas station was selling (know the people at this station and it is CLEAN). It was an oatmeal and brown sugar cookie with a little bit of everything in it. chopped nuts, chocolate chips, crushed potato chips, bits of chocolate wafer cookies (vanilla cookies bits too) and pretzel bits sprinkled on top. This was one of the best cookies I've ever had and it was a limited time cookie. I've searched the internet for similar recipes and cannot find anything so far. The name of the cookie was Ultimate Chaos. Would appreciate any help with finding this recipe or one similar. thanks

Hi everyone, its been a long time since I've been around the buzz and posted anything so forgive me if this has been discussed or talked about before. It used to be that if you posted a personal recipe for submission, you would get an automatic email back saying that your request had been received and was awaiting review, or something on that order. Well I submitted 2 of them recently and have not gotten any kind of confirmation back or any acknowledgement that I did so. Are they just not doing that anymore?

Hi y'all! I'm really working on losing weight. I am overweight and I want to change. For the past 3-4 days, I have biked 5 miles every day, but today I did 6. And I am working on muscles (arms, legs). I think my main issue is eating. I have switched certain foods for fruit (pudding cup for an orange and more apples instead of other snacks) and I have been eating white rice (not for every meal, but about every other day for lunch). What are healthy, easy to make, and relatively cheap meals to make? I know I can lose weight with the proper diet and exercise! :)

I made the sauce for the recipe inside and there is a very stringy texture to it. At first taste I thought it was a hair, but it's all thru the sauce. What did I do wrong? Bad mangos?

It seems like I make the same boring salads, and for some reason, whenever I have one from a restaurant, they seem so much better. :) Does anyone have a recommendation for a good SIDE salad recipe? Any recommendation is appreciated! Thanks so much. :)

Looking for a vegetarian dish that is light but has a creamy sort of flavour. I made an alfredo kind of sauce with low-fat greek yoghurt once successfully, but the second time I tried to make it the yoghurt curdled because I forgot to heat it SLOWLY. Anywway, I have a lot of mushrooms, chickpeas, garlic, lemon juice, a bunch of herbs and ricotta. Also milk. So I was wondering if there is way to make a creamy sort of flavoured dish without adding excessive amounts of butter. Also, I don't have a food processor.

Polenta Recipes have been trying to experiment with different foods. I bought polenta (raw) for the first time about a month ago, but simply cooked it in boiling water and served it as a side dish alongside a nice stew I made. I enjoyed the texture, and the sauce from the stew gave it a nice flavour but I seen blogs using polenta in so many other cool ways. I was wondering if anyone has a favourite polenta recipe or method of preparing it that is relatively nutritious and is less than 430 calories (or can be modified to be so). This looks really nice- http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Polenta-and-Vegetable-Casserole/Detail.aspx?event8=1&prop24=SR_Title&e11=polenta&e8=Quick%20Search&event10=1&e7=%2frecipe-exchange%2frequest-a-recipe.aspx&soid=sr_results_p2i6 But I am assuming that the tubes of polenta mean pre-made stuff? This also looks good- I don't have gratin dishes. http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/fontal-polenta-with-mushroom-50400000108348/ I wondering if it would work just put into a larger dish. Has anyone tried something similar to this? I am vegetarian, but if the meat isn't the main feature of a recipe (such as in a casserole) I can easily modify anything.
