I have a couple of cans of white potato's in my pantry and want to know how long to microwave them. I want to slice them and make them with some mixed vegetable's to use them up.

Food Processors: Which do you have? What do you like or dislike? If you were to buy again would you purchase it or a different brand? ---- I am in search of one! All I have is a mini food chopper 1.5 cup, which is just too small and doesn't really have much power! I liked to chop cauliflower for pizza crust and fried "rice." Would love to make nut butters, date paste, pulverize oats etc.

I am a diehard seafood lover, who recently developed a shellfish allergy and has been advised to avoid most seafood until I narrow down what exactly I'm reacting too. As you can image, I miss seafood quite a bit and my signature dishes use shellfish. Looking for recipe ideas to help me cope. Things that mimic shellfish and seafood flavors but don't actually have shellfish in it.

OT but need to know...when measurements are listed as 28 3/4x19 5/8 " which one is tall and which one is wide? It's for a small desk. Trying to clean up his room and make it more functionable. I found a small inexpensive white and blue desk at Ikea. I just need to make sure it will fit in the limited space I have before going to buy it. Thanks.

I'm making Honey Sriracha chicken foil packs in the oven. I don't have Sriracha but I have Tabasco, Frank's Red Hot, or Sambal Oelek Ground Fresh Chili Paste with a picture of the same rooster on it like is on the sauce. I'm leaning toward the chile paste and it's ingredients are Chili, Salt, Distilled vinegar, potassium sorbate, sodium bisulfite and preservatives. Do you think I could sub any of these for the Sriracha or should I just wait until I have the right ingredients? I am not familiar enough with Sriracha to know which would be the best substitute if any. Idea, thoughts, suggestions? Thanks!

Is there any way that I can just get the recipes without the videos? I know videos are "in," and they can be helpful, but I prefer the recipe in print 95% of the time; I can read them faster and make a hardcopy if I want. Thank you in advance, Mer
