Okay, I'm looking for a main dish I can serve for our 29th wedding anniversary on Friday. Some guidelines... we don't like spicy hot foods, so please keep it mild. Steer clear of seafood... we both like different fish and don't like shellfish, and I want one dish for both of us. Also, I probably can't get home any earlier than 3:30 pm (it is a work day), and we want dinner by 6 pm, so no more than 2 hours or so of prep/cook time. I'd also like something a bit special, something a bit fancy, if possible. All suggestions are welcome...

If my recipe calls for 4. 1 oz semi sweet chocolate squares, 1/4 cup butter and micro to melt, This is a hard glaze, what to do if I wanted just a soft glaze?

Good Morning! In re 'Honey Mustard Dressing', it states that the mayonnaise should be deleted to use the dressing for grilling foods like chicken. Why can't mayo be used when grilling?

I am looking for a couple of recipes. One was a crumb cake/coffee cake with a mild peanut butter flavor. It had a small amount of mile peanut butter flavor crumbs on the top. This was served in my elementary school in Kansas city in the late 60's. I can't remember if it was at Bancroft or McCoy. I believe McCoy but it was too long ago. The other is a chicken and noodles that was made with little cubes of chicken but I remember liking it a lot at North East Junior High in Kansas City in the early 70's.
