A 1pound loaf of bread translate to how many cups of bread cubes? This stuffing recipe calls for 1lb loaf and I have 5cups of bread cubes.

When I asked my dad what he wanted for Father's Day lunch, he requested; soup, salad, and homemade rolls. Anyways, now I need a really yummy soup recipe. Please share your favorites!

Question: (1 answer)
Hi to all of my cooking companions, Volleyballmom, Nadine and anyone else who likes to make muffins. My GAL muffins came out good and I have posted a recipe for them that is available on my homepage. I have some good ideas that I want to try with my quiche that I hope to make this weekend. I have some other ideas for cookies also so stay tuned and I will post something when they are ready. I read in one of my emails that it was Blood Type Awareness Day that I try to follow but sometimes it is not always easy. Have a great evening everyone. Wishing you all the best Manella. Sleep well tonight.

Ruby Tuesday's Bleu Cheese Salad Dressing...has anyone come close to it?? I could suck it thru a straw without greens...is it for sale somewhere? Got a really good clone for it? Thanks in advance! (I hate their food but love that salad dressing with big chunks of cheese in it)

I'm making spring rolls for dinner tomorrow night. A little worried about the dipping sauce. I have a recipe for peanut sauce but hubs isn't terribly fond of peanut butter. Any other simple suggestions for a sauce. Stuffing them with shrimp, cabbage, and other veggies probably sprinkled with a tad of Bragg's Amino Acids. Any suggestions are welcome! I've never made them before! Hope you're all enjoying the start of the weekend!

okay...I was going to make Green Chili Chicken Enchiladas but have no green chilis. Do you think a chipotle chile in there would be a disaster?

I think Dairy Queen's email account may have been hacked. I got an email with a link and nothing else and that's usually a result of having been hacked and the link will probably have malware. I deleted it and suggest you do the same. No offense, Dairy Queen, but if you didn't send an email, you should change your email password.

Thank you again, Linda2d! I made the corrections to my submitted fava bean/pasta salad. I hope AR reviews the corrected copy!

Question: (4 answers)
I often make grilled cheese sandwiches and fresh toast (not together, of course!). However, when I grill the bread, part of it burns while the other part remains uncooked. I have an electric range. I have tried using heat from as low as 4 to as high as 8, with always the same result. I have tried Pam cooking spray, plain butter, and Crisco. I always use plain, store-bought white bread. The turnout is always the same -- part of the bread burns while the other part remains uncooked. I have tried different types of frying pans -- both cheap and expensive. Nothing seems to work. Is this a problem with my stove? My frying pan? The type of cooking spray? For what it's worth, I use I Can't Believe It's Not Butter to butter the bread before frying for grilled cheese. I use a batter of milk and eggs for french toast. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Uh oh! I just submitted a recipe for a fava bean and pasta salad to AR. See it in my recipe box. I forgot to say how big a can of beans to use. Can you please tell me how to edit the recipe? Do I then need to resend it to AR? Thanks everybody!
