OK. Nobody call child services please, but I have just realised my kids have never, gulp, never eaten Jell-O!! But in my defence members of the jury, they don't sell it here. Is there a recipe for making homemade Jell-O with gelatin? Thanks!!

Can you recommend a vessel in which to fry chicken? I use my cast iron dutch oven. If I fry for the amount of time and temperature recommended in the recipe I burn the coating. The chicken is moist and tasty, but the coating is black and scorched. What do you suggest?

Let's talk hominy. Or rather, you talk and I'll listen. What does it taste like? What's the texture like? Grits are made from it, aren't they? Are they just un-gritted grits,lol? My guy hates em which makes me wanna try em! I shall not jump on the hominy haters wagon until I do! Please enlighten me before I buy a can. That's the only way you can get them, right? The recipes I've seen sound good but...gawd! They look like chickpeas on steroids! I like chickpeas, btw. K, I'm done talking now.:o)

I admit it. I enjoy burgers occasionally, but I never, ever enjoy forming them. Never. 'Anyone pressed & baked them like in this White Castle copycat recipe? 'Anyone have a Krystal copycat - or other similar miniburger recipe? Thanks for your comments & suggestions!

A week ago Sunday I made your whole wheat, oatmeal & banana pancakes. I saved what i did not use in a sealed jar. When I used it this past Sunday it was oozing out of the jar and flowed out when I took the lid off. It had doubled its volume. I used half of it and put the remainder back in the refrigerator. Will it be save to use it next week and why did it double in volume? Should I add anything to it?
