OT - Good Morning, Buzzers! I had a nice day yesterday. It rained most of the day, so I did a lot of nothing, if you can believe that! Here's a thought for today...

Question: (1 answer)
What's with the influx of people posting requests like "meatloaf" without any of the niceties such as "I'm looking for a recipe for", or even "please"?

OT again; - I may be late, but someone asked about finding customized versions of recipes. Under the bar graph, to the right of the reviews under the recipes, is a line that states, “See other versions of this recipe.” Click on that and customized versions appear!

OT. Good morning and Happy Victoria Day weekend to all Canadians on Allrecipes.com. and Happy Memorial Day to all of my US friends on AR this morning. I am in a dessert making mode but I am still not sure of how it will come out for me so I will eat my breakfast and ponder some more thoughts about this latest recipe.

I need a dessert or two for a dinner tonight and have been procrastinating! Our main entree will be a chicken alfredo dish. It's 9am now and I need to be finished by about 3:30 (or have minimum prep after - bringing to another kitchen).
What kind of dessert would you suggest? Any gluten free options? Thank you!

Question: (1 answer)
I wrote 3 reviews last night. On the reviews tab above, 2 showed up and one didn't. The 2 that showed up I had only modified slightly, but the third was modified quite a bit. Do they monitor the reviews and kick out the highly modified ones? The review did show up on the recipe site itself.

I am making this pork fried rice dish today. I would like to know if someone has a method to make the pork tender-marinating, etc. Please share.

I've posted a lot today, but I did have to say that you will notice (hopefully) that when you print a recipe, it will now use only ONE PAGE! Hooray!

I am in the mood for a pork roast like Mom used to make, with mashed potatoes and suarkraut and gravy. Most of the roasts today are so lean that you really can't get a juicy roast with lots of gravy. I have a nice big pork shouder (with the big bone running sideways thru the middle) and I'm tired of making BBQ so I think I'll use that; put in sage, rosemary, slivers of garlic and baked in the over since it's too big for the crock pot. I was thinking of cooking at 300-315 for about 6 hours. What do you all think ?

Question: (2 answers)
Reviews revisted: Here is something weird. I wrote all three reviews last night and Shorecook is correct, the one that didn't show up is not a kitchen approved recipe. Ok, but when I looked at my reviews, that one is dated Feb. 15 and the other two dated last night, May 17. I know that I wrote the one dated Feb. 15 in between the two dated May 17.
