I've always hated pimento cheese until I tasted this at the local heb and now I love this recipe. 6 oz whipped cream cheese 1/2 jar heb pepper toppers cherry and 2 cups sharp cheddar. Any other way to use this besides sandwiches and on crackers? Hubby won't even try it. I love that it's vegetarian so no stuffed chicken please.

My Mother who passed away in 2010, used to have what I think was a simple recipe for "Creamed Peas & Carrots". My Dad misses it. I think it was canned peas & carrots with butter (?)... anyone know other ingredients and instructions? I'd...no, we'd very much appreciate it. Thanks!

I bought a flat-cut corned beef back in March and froze it (actually I bought two but just thawed out the second one). If you haven't tried this, you simply must put it on your list.

Hi everyone! I forgot to mention that Lela's Fourth of July Potato Salad was featured in my article in The Alpenhorn News this past week. The on-line version is abbreviated so you won't see Baking Nana's picture of bleu cheese stuffed burgers. Her food pictures are so yummy to look at!

Excited! I found a pressure canner at a thrift shop today. A very old one (I'm judging that by the fact it has wooden handles) but it has the manual. Any good web sites for a beginning canner?

Went to the store today and in the specialty flour section they had so many interesting non- wheat flours. I stood there looking at them for the longest time and almost bought a few and then realized I hadn't a clue what I'd do with them so I put them back to "rethink" it. What non- wheat flours do you use and for what and what are the results (crispier cookies, softer bread, tastier breaking, etc.).
