Had very little money to spend getting groceries this week. So basically no snacks for husband to take to work, or for home. I was contemplating making some snack crackers. I looked up this recipe but wondered.... (also welcome other ideas for snacks, I will need to make them with things already here). Thanks!

Hi! I'm deep frying some battered cod. I don't have a thermometer to test the oil temperature but went by the recipe saying "when a water droplet sizzles" in it. The recipe however, also says to fry for 3-5 minutes (the battered fish pieces are small - only 2-3" big) but I am finding that nearly instantly the batter is burning. I'd say each piece is only in for about a minute tops before the batter is dark. I've cut into the fish and it flakes apart.... would you say it is safe to eat or what am I doing wrong? Thanks so much for help!

So far I have used it to make pesto, and also to make smoothies. I'm looking for vegetarian food processor recipes. Dinner/main meals.

I have a guy I really like coming over for dinner. I already have pre-made meatballs, and I'm using Prego sauce. What can I add to spruce it up? Bay leaves, Italian seasoning, red wine, garlic........Oh, and he's a chef. So no pressure there. Lol. TIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
