I was give a very LARGE tomato (beef Steak I think) its beautiful and I want to use it in something special(not a sauce) any suggestions? some kind of tart maybe, or?

Hi to my peeps and friends, I started out making a loaf but I think it is so much better to make muffins that will have more available space with the capacity for loaf greatly reduced by the loaf pan that comes over the edges all the time. I think my Apricot Gingerbread Muffins will be successful for this morning. I will post when they come out.

Due to roxmj, Nanny, & others talk, I just entered "poppers" in my recipe box search & came up with 11 I'd saved. Wow. Who was it that was requesting recipes for jalapenos? Ohhhhhh, it was me. :O :D True, they're not all true popper recipes - some dip, some pizza - but wow - & how many have I tried? Zero. Guess who's adding cream cheese & bacon to her shopping list? ;) ;) :) PS Roxmj, I'll be creeping your reviews for Benny's & how successful you were. :)

Nanny or anyone, I froze some bananas to use later for banana bread. How long are the bananas good in the freezer? I also have some blueberries I froze, then defrosted the blueberries in the refrigerator. Then, I forgot about them. How long can defrosted blueberries be good in the refrigerator?-going on 3 days.

In need of a quick dip! At the fishing camp so we have limited ingredients. No sour cream and no cheese. We have mayo, a small bag of spinach, an open jar of marinated artichokes, Parmesan, Swiss, provalone, cheddar an goat cheese, tomatoes, onions, milk, cream, random condiments like ranch, horseradish, mustard. I've got leftover steak and mashed potatoes, lunch meat, frozen broccoli and there is a pretty well stocked pantry. There is a corner store but I doubt it's open.

Hi I made a peach pie, cooked the pie and now I want to freeze this pie. The problem I've had in the past it that when I defrost the pie and then reheat it it is never the same as when I first cooked the pie. So question number 1 can you help me with this problem and 2 should I have frozen the pie without cooking it and then what would be the process to cook the frozen pie that is let it thaw out or heat the oven and cook the pie? Thanking you in advance for your assistance with these questions.

Good morning to my peeps and friends, Thank you Tammy Lynn and thecookandbaker for your good reviews of my Smoothie Muffin recipe. I am always trying something new and different with fruits and vegetables that I have on hand. I think the negative review by Sheila has really helped me gain some new support that I would not have experienced otherwise. I woke up this morning with an idea for Apricot Gingerbread Loaf that would give me some dessert for the week and get some new reviews. I will post a note when I have made the Apricot Gingerbread Loaf. When I first made the Breakfast Smoothie Muffins the cranberries and blueberries seemed to be in a more solid state than what one would normally think for a smoothie. I was thinking that the lemonade would help break down the berries a little bit and they would blend easier. Thank you Cookandbaker for your wonderful support. I really appreciate your review and thank you to Tammy Lynn for giving my Muffins a try also.
