Yesterday I was up to my eyeballs in tomatoes! My granddaughter Justice was here to help me. She is 20, so I'm trying to teach her about canning. Spaghetti sauce is always one of my staples! I use a combination of canned, and fresh tomatoes. Thanks for all of the responses about the stale chocolate chip cookies, they all sound delicious! I think I am going to try the ice cream pie one, that sounds yummy!

No news on my snake yet! ~~ I planned to cook DH's favorite meal tonight for our anniversary. He always calls to ask if he should bring anything home. Tonight my DGD grabbed my phone & ran. I didn't know until later that she told her Papaw that I was so tired & he should bring home supper, that she talked him into Wendy's chicken & strawberry salad. A nice light supper! ~~ I need a cooking project for this weekend with the girls. I'm thinking of using wonton wrappers to make stuffed ravioli with crawfish?? With a light garlic cream sauce. And with the crawfish cornbread inside & the matchstick green beans or a simple salad. I've never used wonton wrappers before & have no recipe to make this stuffed ravioli. Any tips or recipes I can adapt would be greatly appreciated.

Good evening! Quick question....I am peeling and chopping tomatoes to prep for either jam or salsa. Can I peel and chop and then store until Thursday when I have more time to work with them? Fridge or freezer? Or, if I peel and chop do I have to process tonight? Thanks so much!

Ugh, so disappointed! I just chopped up a beautiful zucchini and sauteed it in a little olive oil and a little butter plus some seasonings. When I went to try it, it was very bitter. WHY does this happen? Every once in a while I get a bitter zucchini. Is it the vegetable or possibly the way I'm seasoning? Looking for wisdom from everyone's expertise. Thanks in advance. I may not be able to respond tonight, my internet has been a little shaky.
