They are so good. No preservatives and you can read the ingredients without going "what?"

If you email them they'll give you local stores you can purchase their cooking sauces. I can't find the cooking sauce but really like their jarred salsa. Walmart carries their salsas, but not the cooking sauces.

Stores are starting to get them now, especially Albertsons. Our Vons (Safeway) has them, too. They are in jars like salsas, but they aren't kept in the same place. In my store they are kept closer to the Mexican-style packets still in the Hispanic/Mexican food section. It's what you add to ingredients to give it good South of the Border flavor. Nice and spicy! Of all the new products we have tried over the last two years, these are the best.

I miss Albertson's, we had one for over 30 years by us and they closed them all down but a few left in FL...none close to me.

Thanks, I will check in the grocery store but I don't believe they are here yet, good to know.

Thanks Marianne for saying where to look for the cooking sauces but I still don't think they are here yet. The salsa I tried was really good!

It was apparently a recent assignment for the AR ambassadors to talk up this product. That is why you suddenly see a lot of references on here.

I use Herdez salsa verde all the time for cooking so I was happy to see the new product mentioned and the new recipes. Can't wait to look for them at the store today.

The tomatillo verde cooking sauce is very spicy (at least to us----not to bd.weld)! But the flavor is GREAT! That is my personal fave of the four.
