I need help, please. Didn't I see a recipe this morning on a post for a pie crust, made with oil, that you mix up in the pie pan. It wasn't a link, it was just typed. I was busy at the time, and of course now I can't find it.

hey susie are you still here?? someone was talking the other day about the oil pie crust(not sure that it was this one) but you may want to add a little oil at a time -so you don't get too much all at once:-)

When I made oil crusts, they were different than butter/marg/lard ones. Not bad, just different. I like what nanny said; the oil is probably like adding milk in frosting - so easy to suddenly have too much.

Thank you nanny129 and emeralds. I saved the recipes and read some reviews. It did sound like it could be a little oily. I will let you know when I make it. :-)

Thanks. Since making these crusts, I have friends/family very sensitive to lactose so am trying to watch for recipes for them. This would fit the bill!

Sorry that went in x2. Looked like it hadn't posted. I just read your profile. That's so horrible about the sugar syrup - why I tell myself to "slow down!" when making candy/marsh things.
