For the Pineapple upsidedown cake VII recipe it is made in a round skillet or pan. Can I make this in a rectangular pan? By the looks of the photos posted I see several made in rectangular pans. Would I need to double it or anything?

I think if you used a 9x9 square pan you'd be ok, but if you were going up to a rectangle pan (9x13) you should double it.

I do find that posted recipe pictures are often a variation of the original reicpe. I only use the pictures as a general guideline.
