I have a crock-pot, but not understanding why crock-pots do not come with elevated inserts. Sometimes I think it would be better not to submerge item into the liquid until the end of the cooking. I love to make stuffed green peppers, don't want them to be submerged, and get soggy, would rather have them hold up to cooking, and be a little crunchy.
