Hi all! I have a question. I am making JalapeƱo Poppers (http://allrecipes.com/recipe/best-ever-jalapeno-poppers/detail.aspx). I am using homegrown peppers and since I don't like spicy I wanted to "mellow' or "blanch" ( i am not sure of the correct word) the peppers before i stuff them. I read something about boiling them for 2-3 minutes, or do i treat them like eggplant and salt them and let them 'weep' for a bit??? any help is appreciated! Thanks! Kristen
P.S. I realize this is an ironic recipe for someone that does not like spicy but we bought 'peppers' from the local store that were next to the bell peppers, so we assumed.... oh well new experiences!
