I'm looking for a candy recipe that is as close as possible to the old MerriMints candies that are no longer made. I've been buying a good version from Olivers Candies in Batavia, NY, but they are very expensive and don't keep well. The mints I like are smooth on one side and ridged on the other. They are creamy but firm and come in flavors like: peppermint, lemon, wintergreen, and spearmint. Olivers sells a cinnamon mint for Christmas, and I would love to know how to make them. Does anyone have an idea?
