I have some bone in with skin chicken thighs and want a great recipe for dinner tonight. I have russet potatoes, onions, carrots, and just about all kinds of spices. We don't like thyme or rosemary.. so let me know what you have!

A marinade for grilled chicken thighs is a little sweet, a little tangy, and a little hot thanks to maple syrup, rice vinegar, and plenty of seasonings. You can use chicken breasts, too.

I made this recipe last weekend using bone-in skin-on thighs and loved it. I subbed hot sauce for the chile sauce and honey for the maple, used what I had. Grilled over indirect heat (took my thighs, which were big 45 minutes. So moist and juicy and delicious!

I did this once without the thyme and it worked great. Also did both white and sweet tatters at the same time.

we love this!!! Few tips, line your pan with aluminum foil as the cleaning can be a pain if you dont. Also, I bake 30 minutes skin side down, then the last 30 minutes I turn over skin up and baste a bit before returning to oven.
