ok soo this might sound weird.. but sometime ago i ate some weird small pies or patties MOSTLY patties that where filed with spicy rice.. like small patties and i cant find the recipie.. soo anyone knows this recipie ? i think is a georgian one OR if u guys dont know it.. can u recommend me any good alternatives ? :) by they way they may have used all purpose flour.. altho im not completely sure and mayby the had no yeast it was a kinda thin layer of pie before revealing the inside rice feeling.. IF all else fails.. im thinking of making a curried rice filing but i dont know how to make THAT kind of rice too spicy since im not used to cook with curry.. i dont know how to combine its taste with others easyly 0_0 ... that is all :) and its ok if u guys wanna post more than 1 recipie ill be happy :) and sorry for my gramar.. my mother is not english X_X

the pastry part of this already has curry in it- it is good- you can make whatever type filling you like-- in the south (or the us) is would be called a fried pie-- usually a dessert with fruit- but the idea is the same- a baked or freid pastry holding whatever you like- - some areas call them hand pies- good luck on your search-- sounds yummy to me-- just have fun with it- when you find a filling- rice with spices - or whatever veggies, fruits, or meats you wish-- and then you find a crust you like- you have yourself a true recipe:-)

thanks for ur opinion guys xD and my motherland is greek altho im half greek.. and im sure i wont find this recipie in greek cuz greeks dont use many heavy spices as indians/egyptian/turkish/georgian do soo this national part is the best for me :) and soo im thinking a spiced curry in the end as u say it may be good.. but what KIND of curried rice u would use ? i mean one with strong taste 0_0

i am not a curry fan- but i do like spicy foods- maybe more toward mexican flavors(for ma anyway)- cumin- chili powder garlic & the like-- i would love to see the recipe you end up inventing- you are making me hungry-:-)- you could go more toward your area- oregano- parsley- basil- and of course always garlic & onion--
