What are some of your weird food habits or combos? One of mine is chocolate chip cookies and lemonade. I don't eat many cookies, but, when I do, forget the milk(which I LOVE), give me tart lemonade with the way too sweet cookies! :) Another is, one of my favorite breakfasts is left over porky peppers...the cream cheese stuffed bacon wrapped jalapenos! My nephews know to put 4 or 5 of them away so I can eat 'em cold for breakfast the next morning...yum!! :)

I LOVE hot sauce on popcorn. I always stash a bottle in my purse when going to the movies and then sprinkle it on once settled in!

ooh...like Tabasco? I love savory popcorn... I love buttered movie theater, as is, too, but at home I like to use my Alpine Touch spice blend. Garlic, onion, salt and pepper....and hot pepper flakes!...mmm mmm :)

Love parmesan cheese on my popcorn. Hubby thinks that's weird so we have to have two separate bowls. I don't use the good stuff for popcorn I buy the green can for that.

I like to sprinkle hot sauce on my pizza, and I eat cold leftover chicken and turkey dipped in mayo. now that's weird! LOL Oh and over easy eggs I like to dip my toast into the runny yolk.

Semigourmet - I'm as weird as you! On top of that, I like jam on my eggs. My mother put jam on my eggs when I was a little girl to get me to eat them, and I just didn't know other people never ate eggs that way until I moved away from home.

@Missy Kitty... I'd give you the good stuff for popcorn! :) @Fox, I like lettuce, tomato and mayo on toast... or even just lettuce and mayo, if the tomatoes aren't ripe. Never put cottage cheese on toast, though. :) @Semi, you've got some "normal" ones, I think! hehehe LOVE hot sauce on pizza and toast in the runny yolk... never done cold poultry dipped in mayo, though.

@Mrs. J, when I was a kid, I'd make my toast, lots of butter, light currant jam or apple butter, and I'd add a layer of scrambled eggs over the jam and eat my toast that way. YUM! :)

I forgot I love french fries dipped in or smothered in restaurant brown gravy, OOH YUMM! and Keni I just figured out that the hot mustard sauce I love so much from McDonalds, is Dijon mustard, sugar and Sriacha hot sauce. really good. I can see why you like your fries dipped in that I do too.

I don't this is very weird, but my hubby thinks I am strange because I love peanut butter banana sandwiches, and apple slices with peanut butter. And PB&J on pancakes! lol ;) He also won't eat my cottage cheese with green onions, salt and pepper. My mom loves cheddar cheese and raspberry jam sandwiches, I never caught on to that one though!

westcoast mom that reminds me of a monte cristo sandwich I made that called for blackberry jam on the side. I thought that was weird but as I'm eating the sandwich it was so rich and savory I tried it with some jam and it was out of this world delicious. I was pleasantly suprised how much I liked it and the sandwich really did need that touch of sweetness.

Everyday I mix a single serving container of applesauce with fresh spinach, a tsp. of chia seeds, and some cranberry sauce together and eat it before my dinner. I live it and it helps fill me up as well as being healthy.

westcoastmom - We made cored apples with peanut butter in the center for the children's lunches unit of my home-ec class back in high school, and I have loved peanut butter and apples ever since. They stared selling a peanut butter/coconut oil blend at my local health-food store. I like to consume coconut oil because it has loads of health benefits (http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2001/07/28/coconut-health.aspx). That is good with apples too. I make my own peanut-coconut blend using coconut oil from the Indian grocery store (TRANSFAT-FREE version), which cost a fraction of what it costs at the health-food store.

@westcoastmom.... those aren't so weird, but certainly not an every household thing! ;) For me cottage cheese either has to be with pineapple, for a breakfast treat or savory, with lots of black pepper and chives or green onions like you! Peanut butter is great with both those fruits! :) @Rosebud...wow, I LOVE spinach but wouldn't have thought to put it with applesauce or cranberry sauce, though I do love fresh cranberries...it does sound healthy! :)

Peanut butter and bacon sandwiches - my dad used to make them for us. A little grape jelly on my scrambled eggs. McDonald's french fries dipped in their chocolate shakes. And when I eat M&Ms, I separate them out by color and eat the ugliest color first, then second ugliest, etc, until I get to my favorite color blue.

I thought of another - sometimes for lunch I will make a cottage cheese salad (I call it that) I mix into my cottage cheese chopped up pickles, red peppers, turkey, onions. YUM - Just made myself hungry! hahah

@Mary, never had peanut butter and bacon but I love both! We've mentioned the eggs/jelly thing, so I guess that's not as weird as we thought, huh? ;) A LOT of folks eat the fries dipped in shakes... I don't eat McDonalds, but I can see that, sweet and salty! As for your M&Ms...I walk the line of OCD, so I have to FORCE myself not to do things like that! ;)

Peanut butter and bacon, now there's a combo, lol! I've tried peanut butter and pickles, blech not my thing, but I know many who do like it! My husbands father ( from Germany) loved bacon fat sandwiches with red onions. He kept the bacon fat in the fridge and spread it on like very, very thick!

I think I have OCD too, I often organize my food and eat by size or color, or amount. I either have to eat one color first, or organize the colours so they are all even as I eat ;)

I love tuna with cottage cheese but not mixed together. Just some tuna salad on a plate with cottage cheese on the side. Thanks Keni I forgot about that. I ate stuff like that before I was married. I also put tuna and cottage cheese on a baked potato for dinner. Now that I think about that one it IS weird!!

@wcm... I use bacon grease to cook with but that sammich you described just made my tummy turn...BUT, one of my granddaddies used to eat bread dipped in bacon grease, so... I guess it's not much different. :) And, I don't have the OCD thing for regular meals...I love eating my food together. Just don't look in my closet. ;) @Missy Kitty, you're welcome! :) I like cottage cheese on a baked tater, but not with tuna. :)

My grandbaby likes teriyaki beef jerky with a glass of chocolate milk for breakfast. My adult son makes ramen noodles with a can of tuna fish mixed in along with crushed cheese-its on top. Sometimes he adds pickled jalapenos to it. I kid you not.

I know Im really late to this conversation but I thought of one that might seem weird to some but familiar to others..I love vinegar (white) on my french fries... when I was a kid and travelling in the US or elsewhere I got some funny looks from the wait staff when I asked for vinegar..

My weird combo, thanks to my Dad, is Peanut butter on toasted bread with dill pickles. I also like peanut butter sandwiches with bacon and a drizzle of honey. My newest sandwich is grilled cheese with bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers stuffed inside, to die for.
