Mrs. J...I hope you don't mind me commenting on your reply in a previous post about Autism and food intolerances. I just wanted to say that I think your information could be very helpful and interesting to many parents. It sounds like you have quite a wealth of knowledge and I for one appreciate you sharing...I am always interested in learning the body brain connection...thank you...

Thank you folks for your very nice comments. I am all "warm and fuzzy" inside. I do write about alternative medicine for children with learning disabilities (anonymously). It is my job. I just wish everyone knew what I knew: many so-called "genetic" disorders can be addressed through diet and nutrition. Sometimes the "genetic" aspect is food intolerances and inadequate nutrition for healing. I only know these things because I myself was affected and recovered.

Access to information is such an important part of coping with diagnosis of illness or disabilities in my opinion. Making informed decisions about your treatment or medication is key to feeling empowered and taking as much control as possible. The writing that you do Mrs. J must offer hope to many who may not otherwise have considered trying alternatives...very important work... :)

ellie - Thank you. I know I have found my mission in life. When I think about how much my family and I suffered because we did not have the answers we needed when we needed them, I can only think that I would go through all this suffering again for the blessing of being able to help others see their way through a very dark, dark tunnel. Many of us can find our way to the light if only we know what path to take. =)
