DH wasn't feeling up to much so we ordered delivery sandwiches. Not exciting but no clean up! Hotter today by 4-5 degrees. So ready for cooler temps!

Lucky - we are suppose to be 94° today. Today I am most thankful that the house has central air. High is only in the mid 60's for Friday. Crazy Indiana weather!

I am heading out to water a few plants in a minute. The dogs don't even want to go out in the afternoons!

LN shhhhh on those cooler temps! It was 34 here yesterday morning when we got up. Today and tomororw suppose to be at my favorite of mid 90's then back in the 60's! I HATE this fall weather.

It is so crazy. I really hate laundry this time of year, sweat pants in the morning, shorts in the afternoon, jackets start coming out of the closet, some washed at the end of last season, and some not!

I love to put on a jacket from months ago and find money in the pocket! Usually it's just an old tissue in the pocket though.

Brenda that is amazing temp differences. It'll be awhile before I pull out my jacket. 90 again today...I'm heading to my brother's pool for a bit...can't think of anything better to do today...than veg in a pool.

It was a lot cooler for us yesterday. It was nice! Though the thunder in the evening freaked my cats out a bit. Simba's tail was HUGE!

My son named him. His original name was CC - which either stood for Carpet Cat or Champagne Cat, due to his color [the kids kept calling him the gray kitty - but he was the color if my friend's carpet...] He's a pretty tawny butterscotch tabby. His sister is LC - for Little Cat - she was the runt (=

This recipe is a hit with my husband and everyone else I've given the recipe to. It's very easy and satisfies that Italian craving.

Good Morning Lucky, how is the tooth? I had a bagel turkey sandwich, and my husband had a hot turkey sandwich with gravy. Cooked a turkey on the weekend and now we have to find ways to use it up. Have a great day.

Turkey sounds so good manella! Tooth aches now and then. I start the new procedure next week, dreading it terribly!

I had turkey too, Manella. Bought a turkey breast (BLSL) that was marinated in a Dijon mustard sauce and sealed in a bag. First time I tried this. Could not have been easier to bake. So now we have turkey leftovers for lunch today. Think I will buy a couple more of these for the freezer. There were several flavors of marinades.

Peggy, I have never tried just a breast. What brand do you find here? Dijon sounds good!

The brand is Honeysuckle White. Found at Kroger. It's 1.8 lb and my Kroger had the Dijon, an Italian, a "traditional", and one other (?). They were on sale for $4.99 each. It is packaged in a vacuum seal bag and you just slip it (them, two pieces) out and bake or grill. We only ate half for dinner so I sliced the other for sandwiches today.

Apparently it was turkey night. I had turkey breast cutlets that I soaked in chicken stock with sage, poultry seasoning, salt, pepper and garlic. I let that sit for about an hour and then took the cutlets out and cooked in a pan for 3 minutes per side. They were nice and juicy. Hubby who really isn't crazy about turkey liked it! So easy and tasty. I served with mashed potatoes and green beans.

Mine reheated ok. The Parm cheese kinda globbed together, but it was still delicious.
