good evening buzzers. have a question for ya. I bought my fav pizza dough, (cuz I really suck at pizza dough making!) anyhoo, life got in the way and I don't have time now. I left it on the counter and it came to room temp. can I put it back in the fridge? freezer? i'd like to try and use it on sunday. thanksamunch:)

If you are going to do it tomorrow - punch it down, shape it and put it in the fridge. It will rise again over night and you can bake tomorrow. Yes, it can be a foccacia - dimple - spread with herbs, OO, garlic etc...

Awesome baking nana! i'm going to bil and sil for dinner tomorrow. we're having steak and lobster. I thought this would be a good idea for a "bread/roll" sub. mmmmm....sounds delish. thanks for the tips baking nana!

oh, one more question, bn. when I take it out of the fridge tomorrow, i take it i should let it go to room temp again before shaping on the pan???

See how much it has risen. You need to kind of play this by ear. If it is nicely risen then you can just heat your oven and bake after the oven has pre-heated for 30 mins or so. OH! Shape it TONIGHT before you let it rise! If you knock it down and shape in the morning it will take a long time to rise again.

I just took it out of the fridge. I put it in an oiled bowl. there are a couple of bubbles popping out of it. is it too late to shape now? :(

shape in the pan tonite, cover and refridgerate, then dimple and season tomorrow???? sorry, I really need handholding with this. sheesh!

If it doesn't have eggs it in, then it tends to be more forgiving on how it is stored. I would be cared if you left it out too long AND it contains eggs.
