When I print recipes I get the first page as blank; second page-w/recipe; third page, blank. Is there a way I can reduce "wasting" paper?

It's been doing that for over a year now! When the box for your computer to print comes up, under "pages" intead of "all" just pick "pages" with the box next to it for number of pages. Should be a "1" or insert a "1". Then only the recipe will print. Hope this helps, works for me.

also when the computer print page comes up look for a check box that tells the computer to print headers and footers, uncheck that, then if the extra pages go thru anyway they won't print at the top and bottom so you can feed them in and use them.

Thank you for your responses. I did not take the option to "print preview" which would have caused me to print only the recipe . . . . I keep forgetting that . . . . excuse . . . I'm an "old person". Thanks for taking pity on me...ha

I have done that sometimes but I go to different recipe sites and they all work a little different. Thanks for taking your time to respond to me.

This seems to be an ongoing issue on this site. Apparently certain combinations of printer/software drivers, etc. cause extra and/or blank pages to print. What works for some may not be a solution for those with different printers and/or setting. I generally do the copy/paste method as you can then make modifications and not waste ink printing useless ads.

It appears that "ALLrecipes" does not recognize this as a problem with their "clients" but (as long as I engage "brain")I think that is the best solution. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
