Hello! Happy Mothers Day to each of you moms and moms to be. I have some homecanned tomatoes with no seasoning that I want to cook down to make spagettie sauce for this evening. They are roma tomaotes and for FL they actually have flavor. So what I need is to know how do I do this? I've never done it before. Thank you!

Best Marinara Sauce Yet

Tomatoes, parsley, garlic, and oregano go for a spin in your food processor before simmering with onion and a dash of white wine in this marinara sauce recipe.

I'd forget the food processor part. Saute onions and garlic (use more garlic) add the paste stir, add the other ingredients with a pinch of sugar. Slow simmer 30 minutes or so.

Sound wonderful. Yep, any recipe that calls for whole canned tomatoes such as this one would work, crush each tomato (watch for squirts!) by hand and add the juice. Remove any tough membrane or really thick top part of the tomato. Yum!
